How to embed videos into a webpage or posting [For Site Administrators]

Blogger does allow you to upload a video on a webpage, but the video has size limitations.  To work around the size limit, one option to upload your video to a site such as Vimeo or YouTube, and then embed the video on the webpage.

The following guide shows how to embed both Vimeo and YouTube videos on a webpage.

Embedding Vimeo videos

Example:  https://vimeo.com/213872314
1. Select Arrow icon to share.
2. Next to Embed:  + Show options.
3. Change video size from original 640 x 360.  Keep a 16:9 aspect ratio, resize to 480 x 270.
4. Optional: Deselect "Title" from Introduction.
5. Select and Copy embed code from Vimeo.
6. Switch to HTML mode in Blogger, paste into HTML of webpage between line breaks.

Embedding YouTube Videos

Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXIhBEoi93E
1. Select Arrow icon to share.
2. Click Embed: then click Show More.
3. Deselect “Show Suggested Videos when the video finishes".
4. Optional: Deselect "Video title and player actions".
5. Change video size from original 560 x 315.  Keep a 16:9 aspect ratio, custom resize to 480 x 270.
6. Select and Copy embed code from YouTube.
7. Switch to HTML mode in Blogger, paste into HTML of webpage between line breaks.
