The NSF Funded Transfer to Interdisciplinary Natural Sciences (TRAIN) Program is a partnership with Phoenix College, Glendale Community College, South Mountain Community College, and Arizona State University’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at
the West Campus. This S-STEM Scholarship program is intended for
students who are interested in majoring in the STEM disciplines funded
by the program (see website for more information). This program will provide scholarship assistance of up to $5,000/semester and
can be renewed (through a re-application process) for up to 8 semesters
(4 at community college, 4 at ASU NCIAS) for a total of up to $40,000
in scholarship funds. In addition to financial assistance, this program
will provide access to mentorship and project or internship experiences.
